Reduce, reuse, recycle. That’s the way to save the world, right? Recycling comes easily enough, it only takes a little effort on your part. Reducing might be a bit more difficult (but it’s certainly worth the effort). Reusing things, however, takes quite a bit of creative. Well, here’s your chance to have some ideas thrown your way. People have begun to combine reusing with gardening, and they’re are coming up with really clever ways to reuse old bits of furniture that would typically be taken straight to the dump. Check these out!
It’s possible to take an old broken piano and turn it into a gorgeous flower bed…or even a fountain. (Though, personally, I’d recommend taking good care of your baby grand!)
How about a literal flower bed?
If that doesn’t seem too comfortable a place to lie down, you could make a mattress of soft grasses, like this person.
Maybe after taking a mud bath in an old tub, you can use the dried dirt to plant some food…
Sinks function just as well for this purpose.
And you can turn toilets into some beautifully smelling displays of color.
If you’ll excuse me, now, I’m going to head out into my backyard… Share away, people!
